Fiona looked at Holly, her face grimacing. "On purpose..." she corrected. The thoughts of that night flashed back in her mind. There was so much blood everywhere. His screaming still echoed in her ears. The fear that was across his face danced around her mind's eye. She remembered how his body flailed beneath her her as she sucked the last of his life blood from him. "He deserved it," Fiona said bitterly through her teeth, not able to look back at Holly now.

Holly didn't say anything else on that matter, if he deserved it then she believed her. She finished off her wine and got up, sitting down next to her new friend. "Are you okay?" She asked, gently placing a hand her her own, a gesture of support. "I'm here to listen if you need to talk, but if you don't want to tell me, you don't have to."

Fiona didn't look at Holly as she sat next to her. Her arms remained crossed as she stared across at the opposite wall. "I don't know. I guess I'm fine." she said sighing defeatedly. "Its just hard to come to terms with this new lifestyle." Fiona looked at Holly with a sad expression. She realized that she trusted her new friend and thought it would be best to confide in her. Keeping in her emotions was driving her insane, and she had a hunch that it was the cause of her angry outbursts. "My father abused me my entire life. My mom died when I was really young so she couldn't be there for me. A few nights ago I just snapped. I drove to the bridge, the one that leads to here, and jumped. I expected death. Instead Tristan Ainsley found me and turned me into a vampire. Which is why I resent him so much."

"It's odd that I didn't see that." She crossed her legs, leaning back against the couch, glancing over at her friend. "I'm glad that you managed to get out of it though." Holly nodded, "That you're still here, because that's not the way to go. I think maybe he was just trying to do the right thing, knowing that you were innocent. It could take a while to get used to, but I think maybe you should think about giving Tristan another chance. He gave you the chance to turn things around and take charge of your life, you know? Even if he didn't know all of that." Holly sipped her wine, "You can take this 'bad thing' and turn it around and use it for a good purpose."

Fiona squeezed her eyes shut, suppressing her negative feelings. She really didn't want to be alive, why couldn't anyone understand that? But perhaps Holly was right, maybe she can finally turn her life around. Fiona bit down her her lip as she pondered about Tristan and the possibility to give him another chance. She wasn't so sure if she would be able to. He did this horrible thing to her. But besides him, there had to be a way to shed light on her new life. She had a new friend. Actually, Holly was the first real friend she ever had. Before, she had barely spoken two words to a person let alone talk about her feelings.
A smile seemed to make its way to Fiona's face as she thought. The prospect of being able to control her own destiny made her happy. For once she wasn't going to be brought down by her father or her sadness. Fiona would rise above. "Thanks Holly," she said turning to look at her, the smile still on her face. "I'll try my best."
