Holly parked in her designated spot and waited for her new found friend to join her at the front of the car. Before long they were inside the building and Holly was unlocking the door to room 203. "So, here it is. It's nothing special really, but I have a spare room that you can use." Holly stepped inside, scooping up her West Highland Terrier, Max before allowing the other girl to walk in. "This is Max. He's essentially harmless." Max sort of growled a little bit at the woman, "Don't worry, he'll warm up to you."
She shut the door behind Fiona, "Soo this is the living room, pretty self explanatory. The kitchen is right over here." Pointing, "Not that you'll be doing much in there.." She murmured awkwardly.

Fiona found Holly waiting for her by her car, and soon followed her into the building. They passed Tristan's apartment, and she glared at the door when she smelled him inside. She wondered to herself whether or not he could smell or hear her as she walked by, but soon the thought left her. Holly led her upstairs to the apartment marked 203, and opened the door.
"It's nice," Fiona replied as she walked inside. She jumped, surprised by the sight and smell of the dog. Her fists clenched as she fought not to attack it. It seemed to be getting easier to control herself. As of now, she had no desire to kill Holly anymore. She continued to follow Holly around as she showed her the different rooms, tossing her bag onto a nearby chair as they walked by. "I really appreciate you letting me stay here," she said after they were done touring the place. She stood with her hands in her pockets and staring down at the floor. "I owe you a lot."

"Nah, don't worry about it." She shrugged, "I could maybe see about getting you a job at the pub. Maybe you could be a server or something. It gets pretty busy on the weekends with everyone coming in to eat and it's hard for me to do it all. I mean, that is if you think you could handle it? You know, being around people." Holly put the dog down on the floor and it sniffed at Fiona's feet before walking away uninterested. She plopped down in her recliner, "That way you could at least give me a little money towards rent. This place is cheap, but it'd be nice to have a bit of a break on the price. I might be able to take a day off every once and a while."

"Yeah, I'm sure I could get used to it. I'd love to help you out." Fiona said nodding her head. "Like I said, I owe you." She sat down awkwardly on the couch, her body rigid as always. Being a vampire made her posture very precise, she noticed. And she didn't fidget around anymore like she used to. She sat, staring off into space as more questions filled her mind about her new lifestyle.
"Have many other vampires come into town?" Fiona asked curiously. Perhaps she could find out some answers to her questions. She definitely didn't want to talk to Tristan again, that was for sure. Though somewhere deep inside, she felt a protest. I hate Tristan why would I want to see him again? she thought angrily.

"Alright, well I'll talk to my boss tomorrow and see what he says. I'm sure he'll say yes, I'm pretty good at getting what I want." Holly shrugged, pulling her shoes off, her feet were tired from the day.
"Yeah, there are a few. There's one in particular, I know. I mean, I know quite a bit about vampires if you had any questions. I can try and help, but if I don't know I can ask Elijah." She nodded, "he's my..uh..I don't even know." Holly looked over at Fiona, "You'll probably see him around, let's just say that."

"That's great, thank you," Fiona said in reply to possibly getting a job. For some reason she felt excited. It was something to look forward to and keep her occupied, something to keep her mind off of forever. She listened intently as Holly explained about her vampire 'thing' and smiled slightly. "I do have a few questions, but to be honest I can't even decipher them from the mass of thoughts in my head at the moment," she said shrugging. "So, what do you mean 'I'll be seeing him'?" Fiona asked as she leaned toward Holly, resting her elbows on her knees and her head cocked to the side a bit.

"You'll just..be seeing him around..the apartment." She said simply, biting her lip, "I guess maybe I could tell you. I don't really tell anyone else, because I don't know, it's not really normal." Holly wet her lips. She sat up a bit and undid the top of her collared shirt, pulling it down just a bit lower then her collar bone. She had two distinct puncture marks along with a bit of bruising. She then pushed up her sleeve, exposing another on the inside of her arm near her elbow. She figured that was explanation enough.

Fiona sat back up, a shocked expression across her face. Her mouth hung open slightly as her gaze shifted from one bite mark to the other. "What? Why? Did he force you? Did he hurt you?" she asked stammering. "How come you didn't change into a vampire? I really don't understand all of this..." She trialed off as she put a hand to her head for a moment before looking back up at Holly. "Are... you alright? Are you... okay with this? Because if you're not..." Fiona stood threateningly, her anger leading her again instead of her brain.

"No no! Calm down!" She laughed lightly, "I let him do it." Holly crossed her legs, leaning back against the recliner, "I mean he doesn't do it every night, but he comes over every night..or I go to his place, either one. He won't change me unless he actually tries to. For us, personally it's sort of a sexual thing, I guess. I like it." Holly fixed her clothes back over the marks on her skin. "I don't know really what to call us though, I don't think we're boyfriend and girlfriend or whatever, but it's definitely more then a friendship."

Fiona snapped out of her anger as she shook her head, pulling her hands down her face slowly. "I'm sorry, I can't control it these days," she admitted embarrassed. She let out a heavy sigh as she sat down again. "Well, that's... interesting," Fiona said after Holly was done explaining. "I've never thought anything like that could, you know, work out. Hell, I never thought vampires even existed!" Fiona chuckled softly. "As long as he's not hurting you, physically or emotionally," she said after a moment, putting a strong emphasis on the ending part.

Holly laughed a little, "Strange things happen." She shrugged, "But you'll meet him eventually, he sneaks in a lot. He walks me home from work when it's dark, but it's been too cold for walking lately so we meet up, you know." Holly stood and went into the kitchen. She pulled out a bottle of wine, it looked quite old, pouring it into a glass. Then took out another bottle, pouring some for Fiona. "This is Elijah's but I don't think he'll mind." She handed Fiona her glass and sat down, crossing her legs. She didn't mention that it was her own, but that probably wasn't important. "I love wine." She sat indian style in the chair, swirling it around in her glass a little, watching the contents before sipping it. "Especially old expensive wine."

"Right," Fiona nodded as she watched Holly make her way into the kitchen. She had poured two drinks, one of wine and one... blood. She could smell it. And oddly enough, it smelled very familiar. "I used to love drinking wine, when I was allowed," she said simply with a halfhearted smile. "Now, not so much." Fiona took the glass and brought it to her lips smelling the sweet liquid. The burn in her throat roared, but she held her composure. She gave Holly a strange look before taking the first sip. Once the flavor touched her tongue her eyes went wide, fighting the urge to drop the glass, run over, and attack Holly again. The taste was so fragrant, so delicious, and completely identical to Holly's scent. "It's yours..." Fiona breathed unnecessarily heavy. Her hands shook, sloshing the blood around in the glass. "You shouldn't have given me this."

"Have you tried to drink or eat anything human? I mean, I don't think it'd hurt anything?" She shrugged, watching her. Holly took a bigger sip of her wine then probably necessary as she watched her take the first sip. "You're fine. Drink it." She watched, "I know you can do it. You have to be able to smell it to work at the pub, trust me, there's going to be way more temptation then a glass of my blood." Holly said simply, drinking more of her wine, "You're not bad, you can control yourself. I know that already, you just have to believe you can do it."

"Yeah, I have tasted human blood..." Fiona stuttered, then changed the subject. "I just... I don't believe myself to be strong. I never have." She sat staring at the dark crimson liquid in her glass. She wanted it so badly, but couldn't find herself to drink it right away. But then that's when she realized she was controlling herself right then. She hadn't turned into a rabid animal killing ruthlessly. She was Fiona, she was in control. With a bit more confidence she tipped the glass to her mouth again, gulping down the delicious blood. When she finished she stared at Holly from underneath heavily lidded eyes. She needed more, but she knew she couldn't. For the next few moments she fought with her inner demons, her blood lust, and finally the pressure wave passed. She stared at the floor for a moment thinking about how Holly had questioned her about whether or not she had tasted human blood. "I killed my father," she said quietly, looking back up at Holly.

"You killed your father?" She said, looking over at her, her eyes wide. "On accident?" Holly asked, sipping a bit more of her wine. It was still somewhat weird to be talking about things of this nature so casually, but this was their world, this was how it was going to be.
