"Well, if you'd like you could stay with me, at least until you figure out what to do." She nodded, giving her a small smile, "I'm sure it's a little bit strange since you know, you are new at the whole vampire thing." Someone outside of their 'realm' might have thought it was funny the way they spoke so casually about vampires and the supernatural. "I don't know Tristan, so I don't know how he is." Holly glanced up at the door when a man walked in and she acknowledged him with a nod and a small wave, automatically turning to pour him a beer, placing it in front of him. He was a regular, an old warlock although he looked like any normal old man who might hunt a little too much. "So what do you say, Fiona?" She asked.

Fiona thought about Tristan for a second, and for some reason her gut was screaming 'no' but she didn't know why. She hated Tristan, and Holly was quite to opposite. Holly was kind to her and seemed to really care about her well being. Fiona bit her lip as she was deep in thought, shifting uncomfortably as the man walked into the pub. "That... would be great, Holly. Thank you," she finally said after a few moments. "You don't mind? I'll try to stay out of your way."

"No, I don't mind at all." Holly shrugged, wiping the counter down, mostly out of boredom, she never knew what to do with herself on slow days. "I'm here for the day shift today, so I'll be here till five o'clock. You don't have to wait around here if you have other stuff to do. If you wanted to just meet me back here then, I can take you to the apartment." Holly suggested, taking her empty glass from her, putting it into a bucket of soapy water.

For the first time in a while, Fiona genuinely smiled. How could she be so lucky to be the recipient of such kindness? Perhaps forever wouldn't be so bad if she could spend it with a friend. But then she thought of how Holly was a human. Well, mostly human. I wonder if she grows old? she mused almost sadly. Fiona would hate to become close with the girl and then lose her to death.
She let out a sigh as she stood up from the bar, reaching into her pocket looking for the wadded up money she had from before. She put a crinkled ten dollar bill on the bar. "Thanks Holly. I'll see you later then," she said as she hoisted her bag back over her shoulder.
