Tristan lead Fiona out of his apartment and made his way through the town of Crocker. He was silent most of they way, not wanting any of the humans to over hear them. When they finally made their way out of town, he walked down a trail that was hardly ever used except for mountaineers and himself. As they walked down the trail, he spoke again.
"Every vampire needs human blood to survive," he began. "It is uncontrollable, the bloodlust is... impossible to resist. With out it, you will go mad. Now... I myself have a very different view on the world than most of my... our... kind. Most just feed on the first available human they come across. I have always been different. I cannot and will not just kill a human to feed my desires. I only feed off of those who are inherrently evil and therefore deserved punishment for their deeds or..." He paused for a moment, letting out a sigh as he prepared himself for her reaction to the next part of his sentence. "Or those who are about to die anyway."

Fiona looked sharply at him with narrowed eyes. She didn't need words to tell him how angry she was. She was certain the he already knew. Hopefully a straggler human showed up soon, she needed to get her frustrations out.
She stopped walking abruptly. Her mind had just thought about killing an innocent human and she... liked it? Fiona shook her head violently before catching up with Tristan.

"Like I said though," he continued quickly as he walked, not noticing that Fiona had stopped for a moment. "I couldn't kill you," he said quietly. "I don't understand it, but there it is and here we are.... So I've been coming up here a lot lately. There are a group of men who have been camping here. They bring young girls up and..." he growled at the thought. "I have picked them for my next meal."

Fiona growled deep in her chest as she caught up with his talking. Any man who abused a woman should die. The situation was purely reminiscent of her and her father's relationship. Of course, he just beat her. He didn't do to her what she expected these hikers did to these young women.

Tristan made him away down the trail and around the bend until he came upon the spot where the hikers stuff was set up. He pulled Fiona over to hide behind a tree. "They should be back soon," he said quietly.

Fiona stood rigidly behind the tree, hardly able to contain herself. The burning in her throat was growing stronger. She clenched onto the tree leaving claw marks in the bark. She even began to shake slightly, and she felt as if she had a fever.

Tristan watched the campsite in silence, his eyes darting to Fiona every couple of seconds. He could see the signs: she needed to feed... soon. Suddenly two men came ambling through the trees. They were bumbling around, quite obviously slightly intoxicated. Between them was a young girl, about 13 or 14 years old. She looked excited, yet scared. As if she wasn't sure if this wasn't quite what she had bargained for. Tristan turned to Fiona and said in a voice barely louder than a breeze, "I'm going to go in and incapacitate the girl. Just push a pressure point so she passes out. Once that happens, we can move in on the men. Leave the girl. She is innocent. I won't need to tell you to do with the men... your instincts will take over then."

Fiona just barely nodded in response to him. Time seemed to be going by so slowly. She needed to silence the fire that burned within her. Her nails continued to carve into the tree as she waited.

Tristan darted forward out of the trees and quickly snuck up behind the group. He brought his hand round the girl's throat and pressed a pressure point, knocking her out. The girl fell to the ground and he moved her out of the way. This all happened in a span of about 15 seconds. The men hadn't even realized what happened.

As soon as the unconscious girl hit the ground, Fiona leaped from behind the tree, not waiting for Tristan to tell her it was okay. She didn't care, the men would be dead soon anyway. She landed on the back of one of the men, snapping his neck instantly. He didn't even know what had hit him before he was dead. The other man stood wide eyed at Fiona as she dropped the dead body to the ground, sat onto of his lifeless body, and bit into his neck, drinking his warm blood hungrily. The burning in her throat was replaced with an amazing feeling of satisfaction. It even felt sensual in a way.

Tristan grabbed the other man, not bothering to kill him before knocking him over. He held on hand to the man's face, turning it away to expose his neck and bit down swiftly. The man writhed and screamed in pain, but Tristan ignored it. He enjoyed hearing the man's screams. He deserved it for what he'd done. Slowly the man's twitching slowed and his scream faded as the loss of blood killed the man. He drank until there was nothing left before rising to face Fiona. "Well...?" he asked her. "How do you feel now?"

Fiona turned to look back at Tristan slowly, still sitting on the dead man's body. She had blood dripping down her chin which then fell onto the man's face which was frozen in a state of wide-eyed shock. A growl was let out through her teeth as she turned to scan the clearing. The teen girl still lay on the ground unconscious, and Fiona prepared to pounce.

Tristan registered in a split second what Fiona was about to do. What she did on her own time was her buisness, but he could not allow her to kill an innocent human girl while he was around to prevent it.
He lunged at her, tackling her to the ground. They rolled over a few times and Tristan landed on top of her, pinning her arms to the ground. "Fiona," he said, his voice low and calming. "Fiona, focus."

As Fiona was tackled to the ground, a fierce snarl escaped from her. She struggled to get out from beneath him flailing her arms and legs about. After a few moments, she gave up. He was stronger than her. "I - I need it..." she whimpered quietly giving one last weak push against him.

"I know," he said softly, still keeping her pinned to the ground in case she tried to get up again. "Trust me, Fiona. I understand. I have been where you are. But think of the girl. Think of what she has been through. She is innocent. She doesn't deserve this. You need to let her walk away from this, Fiona." He gave her a soft, semi-sad smila and removed his hands from her arms. She was still pinned down by his weight, thought. "You have to be strong," he said. "I know you can do this..."
